“We are pleased to welcome Jennifer to the SOCMA family,” said Chuck Bennett, Vice Chairman of Dixie Chemical and Chairman of SOCMA’s Board of Governors. “More than ever the fine and specialty batch chemical industry, ranging from small family businesses to large multinational companies, is relying on SOCMA to represent its interests in a tumultuous regulatory environment. We believe Jennifer brings us strong expertise and a fresh set of eyes to lead our already excellent staff,” he added.
“SOCMA’s members and its hardworking staff have an excellent reputation with federal regulatory agencies and Capitol Hill,” said Abril. “The association is clearly a respected voice in Washington and beyond. I am excited to join the team and help continue to bring added value programs to our current and future members. I believe we are well positioned for growth and success as we approach our centennial celebration in 2021.”
