Renditions Golf Course
Welcome to the 2016 American Chemical Society Scholars Program Golf Outing, jointly sponsored by the American Chemical Society and the Society of Chemical Manufacturers & Affiliates. The outing will be held at the picturesque — and challenging — Renditions Golf Course in Davidsonville, Maryland, on Tuesday, September 27.
Participants will enjoy a day of fun and networking while raising money for the ACS Scholars Program that awards renewable scholarships of up to $5,000 to underrepresented minority students who want to enter the fields of chemistry or chemistry-related fields, such as environmental science, toxicology, and chemical technology.
The outing will be played scramble-style, and will include a buffet lunch beforehand with a cocktail hour proceeding dinner and the awards presentation. Awards will include prizes for the top teams, winners of the closest-to-the-pin and longest drive contests, as well as a raffle. Players will also have a chance to win a trip for two by achieving a hole-in-one on a specified hole. Don’t miss this opportunity to network with chemical industry decision-makers while having fun, winning great prizes, and supporting the development of future chemistry innovators.
